Sizes & Certifications

All helmets are ECE certified (European standard). DOT (US standard) is available to order. The size reads the same way: your head in centimeters.

Helmet sizes

How to measure, in three steps

  1. Take a tailor’s tape and wrap it around your forehead.
  2. Keep it just above the eyebrows, where the helmet sits. Not on the back of the head: two centimeters higher and the size changes.
  3. Read the centimeters: centimeters are your size. Find them in the table.

The scale

One scale, six sizes, the same for ECE and DOT.

Size Head circumference Shell
XS53 – 54 cm1
S54 – 57 cm1
M57 – 59 cm2
L59 – 60 cm3
XL60 – 61 cm4
XXL61 – 62 cm4

The shell is the outer body: two sizes with the same shell look the same from outside and differ inside.

On the border between two sizes? If you like it snug take the smaller one, if you prefer comfort take the larger one. In doubt, message us on WhatsApp with your centimeters: a person answers, not a form.

Outside 53–62 cm? Message us: to order, other things are possible.

ECE and DOT

The scale is the same. The certification changes, not your head measurement. A DOT helmet is made to order: it is painted for you and ships in 3–4 weeks.

Non-certified Vintage

The non-certified Vintage line comes in four sizes: S · M · L · XL. No XS, no XXL. You measure the same way, with the same centimeters as the table. It is not road legal.
